The current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) expires March 26th.  We will elect a negotiating committee in late this summer and begin preparations immediately after the election.

We are going to propose significant wage increases for all classifications.  The most effective way to ensure the success of negotiations is to support your bargaining committee.

That is up to the bargaining unit.  We suggest starting to save money now in case there is a strike.

Negotiations can be unpredictable.  The Union is willing and able to negotiate a new contract within a couple of days, but as we saw last time progress was significantly slowed by the company.

First, do not engage in gossip or negativity.  The Committee puts in dozens of volunteer hours to develop proposals and negotiate.  Communicate with them often, attend Union meetings for updates, and engage in solidarity events such as wearing -shirts on negotiation days.
