Bargaining Committee met with the Company at Silver Reef Casino. The company gave a presentation conveying the state of the business for reference going forward. The Union borrowed the presentation and raised concerns about how company decisions have affected the current conditions. The Company recognized the hard work and sacrifice the Bargaining Unit have done over many months and years.

The parties exchanged both economic and language proposals and the respective parties explained their position.

The Bargaining Committee (BC) is meeting tomorrow to prepare responses to Company proposals. The parties will reconviene Sunday March 26 at 8am.

March 25, 2017
The BC met at 8am to discuss the Company's proposal. The proposals, as is often the case in first exchanges, significantly lacking. The BC is looking at this through the lense of what is approaching 30 months of no increases. We've got a long way to go.

The parties are scheduled to meet tomorrow (Sunday, 3/26) at 9am to continue negotiations.

March 26, 2017
The parties made progress on non-economic language issues. The Union is prepared to present counters for the Company's proposals tomorrow.

We are working through non-economic issues and should start on economics tomorrow. The Company is bringing in a benefit specialist to help explain the Company's proposed medical changes.

March 27, 2017
The BC has Tentative Agreements (TA) on twenty-six (26) non-economic language changes. There are two remaining non-economic changes.

The Company presented their new Medical Plan proposal and explained the differences.

The Parties will continue at 8am tomorrow and expect to move into the economic issues.

March 28, 2017 We picked up a couple more TA'd agreements today and started on economics.

Eventually we will have a proposal for vote: Be Aware!!!

March 29, 2017 Most of the non-economic issues have been resolved. We are now talking about the money. The Company has proposed some major changes:

1) Pension Freeze with increase to 401k Contributions

2) Change in Medical Plan

3) Some wage increases with bonuses

All is still subject to change. We will NOT give out details until we have a final proposal.

Union Reps on site DO NOT have any more information than this...

March 30, 2017 The Parties are close to finishing.... As always, this could change.

Be prepared to receive information concerning dates and times of Q&A meetings, the contract vote dates and procedures, and where to get a copy of the proposal.

Be Aware!!!

March 31, 2017 We have a Last, Best, and Final Proposal from the Company. Please see attached.
